We hope it to be everyone’s best year yet!
It is so nice to be working with two wonderful girls, Tiffany Commander and Nicole Bacon.
They bring a great vibe into the shop.
We are all still independent contractors so I changed up our hair cuts on our menu from short and long to fine and thick.
If you have very fine hair or very short hair (above the chin short) then usually with consulting, washing, drying, and cutting it takes a max of 30 min.
If you have coarse, thick, very curly hair, it can take a whole hour to cut, wash, and consult.
It’s the same with people that have longer hair, if it’s very fine and quick to dry, it can take 30 min max, if its coarse, thick, or super long, it can take a whole hour to do the works.
It will make it better for us timing wise by keeping us from having half hour breaks after each short haircut we do.
I like breaks, but not right after my first cut of the day. 
Don’t get the wrong impression, we love talking with you.
Even with talking each others ears off and doing the works were done in 30.
It’ll also make more it clear as to which cut to pic.
I think everyone gets the point. I just didn’t want people to panic and think we are going to start rushing them out of our chairs.
We are still all about our customer service and providing the vibe of growth, love, and respect.

Tiffany is back!
We are still working out details of how long she’ll be back or if she is going to be in 1/2 a year and out the other etc.. but she is back for now
I have added her onto the online scheduler so you can also start booking with her.
Some of you that have followed us over to MAGDolls know Tiffany and liked her as much as you like me
I think we have similar styles. She says there’s no method to my madness and I say she is just as creative with more of a method applied.
We are all very excited to be working together again and watching MAGDolls grow into a rad little hair parlour.

I want to start off by saying Thank You All for all your support! I love, love, love my job and plan on doing hair until I die or physically can’t any longer.
I am not at all trying to steer you away from MAGDolls, I’m just making sure you are being taken care of when you want. You shouldn’t have to wait around for me and there is always a next time!
If for some reason you are having a hard time getting onto my schedule because I’m booked out too far for you, or I am taking some time off and you want to know who I would go to, then here are some of my recommendations some of you have asked for:
First I would go to Tiffany if she is available at MAGDolls. If not then I would pick one of these other lovely hair stylists in the SE ActivSpace building
If you are going for a more natural look with color (highlights/lowlights,all over any color, grey coverage, etc..) and or cutting I would recommend Nikkie Thrasher in Honeycomb hair studio upstairs from MAGDolls suit

If you are a Guy or gal that prefers a Barbers hair cut, then Augustus Bowman in Oak Barbershop right behind my shop in suite #115 will take care of you! His phone number is 503.967.5925 and web is http://www.oakbarbershop.com I have liked what I have seen walk out of his shop. He is a barber and does cut mostly mens hair but, if you are a lady and would still like a bad ass short cut then he will cut yours too.
If you have curly/wavy hair and are looking to get rid of your curls for some crazy reason, J/P I’d recommend Alysia in Unsprung upstairs on the 4th floor in suite #409 of our building, www.unsprung.net, she specializes in Chemical Hair Straightening, permanent and non permanent options
Some of my future goals are, to take 2 months off a year for personal hobbies, continued education, and a couple of looong breaks! Hopefully this will all be starting by May of 2014. The plan is to take the whole month off every May and Oct each year. I will update blogs and mark out the online scheduler so you know for sure. I know its early notice lol, just making sure to communicate with you all

Please be considerate when showing up late or canceling and give at least a 24 hour notice so we can get those spots filled.
If you scheduled online, please go back online and cancel your appointment if possible. Otherwise call the shop at 503~233~8875 and leave a message with your name, the date, and time of your appt and we will cancel it for you.
We make sure to space our appointments out so that we have enough time to consult and get to know you so we can do the best job possible on your hair.
If you are late it puts us behind our schedule and can make our whole day fall behind. 
If you can do this for us, we will do the same for you!

I know it’s super early, but I want to get everyone ready for my 2 weeks off in Dec!
I am super excited to take a nice long vacation.
So, I Michelle Hogue will be out of the shop from Dec 17-Jan 2nd, I’ll be in on the 20,21,and 22nd for 4 hrs each day.
I’ll be back to work on Jan 3rd 2012 woohoo!!!!!
Oh yeah, if you come in regularly you can ask me to book your next appt right there for you.
You just have to remind me because sometimes I forget to ask.
